This Mercedes Vito diesel automatic supplied by us to our client with a crash tested power wheelchair to drive from. The adaptations include full remote access via power rear doors and wheelchair access lift, lowered flat floor to give this client headroom and a good driving eye line, electronic wheelchair tie down system, hand controls for driving and two wheelchair positions, one as a driver and one as a passenger with the drivers seat interchangeable with either. This client was finding it increasingly difficult to transfer from a wheelchair to the driving position in the car, our drive from wheelchair vehicle was the solution to this problem.

This Mercedes estate proved to be the solution for our client to take her wheelchair or scooter with her. The adaptations included a power in/out heavy duty wheelchair hoist, this allowed our client to go to the rear of the vehicle, open the tailgate and use a hand held control unit, press one button to pick up her wheelchair or scooter and press another button to power the hoist with the scooter attached inside the vehicle. The client could then make her way to the drivers door and get into the drivers position where she would drive the Mercedes with single lever push to brake; pull to accelerate hand control.

This high roof Ford Transit supplied by us provided the ideal solution for our client who needed to drive from a wheelchair and also carry a large scooter complete with weather canopy. The adaptations included a full height Ricon wheelchair access lift giving a platform size of 63'' to access the vehicle on a 5ft long scooter. We provided a crash tested drive from power wheelchair, electric wheelchair tie down system for driver and middle row passenger seat with interchangeable drivers seat, electronic swivel in-out lowering front passenger seat, full remote operation of rear doors and wheelchair lift to access the vehicle.
